Other races I have no clue, but Asians and Whites are the closest considering genes/DNA testing and I am sure the difference between the genes from one of the other races compared with whites is not far off or substantially further away then the Asian gene and visa versa.

Being an Asian I can honestly say that a majority are. Though I know families from other races that are just as hard on their kids to go college. Could just be a stereotype though because I know many Asian families that couldn't care less if their kids work in a factory.
