it doesnt matter what breed of dog you have, dachshunds almost should always be the only dog in the house or yard. dachshunds naturally dont get along with other dogs. they bark at everything and anyone ( accept the people who take care of it )

Yes, they do. I own a 4 yr old female English bulldog. She is very friendly towards other dogs, sometimes though the other dogs find her frightening because of her size. My sister has a 16 lb pug and my dog is around 45 lbs. My dog loves to try to play with her pug, but her dog runs and hides. I guess if your a little dog and see a bigger dog charging, you would probably run too. English bulldogs are very friendly and loving in nature. Mine is really good around all other dogs and people. She is very good around children too and actually lies down so children can pet her at their level. If you are looking for an all around loving and friendly dog, an English bulldog is a good choice.

I have a bulldog myself! (Hence the Username) and he is very nice to my new puppy but with other dogs he just tries to be territorial. My puppy on the other hand is very nice and knows his place. In my opinion I think if you socialize your dog as a puppy they will be very nice to other dogs they meet.

All dogs are different. it depends on how friendly both of the dogs are. I have a very small but aggressive dog and I don't think he would get along with other dogs even though typically that type of dog is friendly

Are English bulldogs good swimmers?

Answer: Bulldogs can not swim as they have to small legs to keep their large, muscular body afloatAnswer: Actually, my 3 year old, pure-bred, English bulldog swims very well. He loves the water! Craves me throwing sticks for him to swim out and get! While their legs are small the front paws are very wide and until he learned to use the back legs a bit (mostly as rudders but they do paddle as well) he relied soley on his front paws.English bulldogs are in many cases a product of their environment. If you feed the heck out of them and limit their excercise, they'll go with that and slowly evolve into a peice of furniture. If you get them walking and playing twice a day, they crave activity. With walks being hard on them in the heat, swimming is a godsend. He's wiped for hours after a good swim. Great on the hips, great cardio and makes him squeeky clean too!

Do teacup pigs get along with small dogs?

It depends on whether the owner taught the small dog to be friendly with other animals or not

What is worth more a french poodle or an English bulldog?

It depends.....English bulldogs are loyal, charming and are great with families and children. They are very loving as you should not believe that they are mean even if they were once fighting dogs. They should not be thought of as guard dogs. They are also a bit more expensive to care for as they have dog asthma.French bulldogs are more small, and they are very friendly and delightful to be around. They are definitely smaller than an English bulldog but that does not mean less love or care for them. They are better with single families but also can be loved by children.I suggest adopting than buying at petshops! If you are looking for a dog that always wants to be with you and has a lot of personality, but is still active and playful, go for a french bulldog. An English bulldog is just the same, but they tend to have much more health problems like doggy asthma. They are definetley more expensive to care for.

What is the best dog for a small house?

I would say that the best dog for a small house, depending on where you live would be... 1. A chihuahua (small) 2. A pomeranian (very cute) 3. English Bulldogs (Not very energetic) 4. Pugs 5. Most terriers Always take into consideration where you live. A small house for example, with a small yard would not be good for a lab or a whippet.
