Some buy images of Buddha and display it in their houses although they are not buddhists. They think that it is good luck and Filipinos are also influenced by the Chinese culture. There is even a place in Manila called China Town because many Chinese businessmen established their businesses there and you can buy many Buddha images there of different colors and sizes.
