I live in an apartment complex. Never mind the Management: treat the matter as if it was a neighborhood. Besides, the complex is a community. You need to report any drug activities to the police, not Management. Many Housing projects owned by a housing authority have their own police department and such activities should be reported to them.

does a single person have to have an income to get public housing ?
Public housing is the cheapest form of apartments available. The US government's Housing and Urban Development website shows all the requirements to qualify for the housing.
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, known as the HUD, has the role of providing fair and affordable housing to all citizens of the country. Some common programs that are regulated and offered by the HUD include subsidized housing and public housing such as section 8. Low income families can qualify for HUD's programs, such as public housing. Interested applicants need to apply with their Local Public Housing Agency, which will then find the appropriate apartment in a desired neighborhood. The HUD is also responsible for enforcing laws such as the Fair Housing Act, which prevents discrimination against tenants and home buyers.
They may be giving you poor reference try contacting the housing athority for help.
In the United Kingdom, public housing projects are called just that, public housing projects. These housing projects are available to support those who are without housing and are on welfare.
It depends on the reason for loosing the voucher, but probably not. Nothing prohibits a person from applying, though.
This will depend on one, whether or not you live in public housing (section 8/HUD) and two, what state you are in. If you live in public housing, VAWA allows you to break your lease without any penalties. If you are not in public housing, this will depend on your state. You may want to call the National Domestic Violence Hotline. They can direct you to an advocacy group in your state that can help you with the process and answer any questions.
Get the people in public housing to pay there own way. NO Public Housing = No smoking ban.
Generally, if the felony is at least five years old and is non-violent in nature and does not involve drugs -- usage or distribution -- then you can. But each apartment complex has its own rules regarding this. Public housing and the section 8 program have their own rules regarding this, and which are much stricter than those of low income apartment complexes.
