Judaism and Islam both have legal systems built into the religion: halakha and sharia, respectively. Christianity does have partial legal codices, but nothing as all encompassing as the religious legal systems of halakha or sharia.

How do Muslims describe Jews and Christians?

Muslims describe Jews and Christians as "People of the Book".

What prophet do Jews Christians and Muslims worship?

Jews and Muslims do not worship any prophet. Both Judaism and Islam hold that God and only God is the appropriate object of worship. Muslims consider Jesus a prophet, and Christians do worship Jesus. Christians do not worship any of the other people that both Jews and Muslims respect as prophets.Perhaps the question should have been "what prophets are accepted as legitimate by Jews, Christians and Muslims." In that case, all of the prophets accepted by Judaism are on the list, not just one single prophet. Moses, yes, but also Abraham and Isaiah are on the list.

Do Muslims hate Buddhists?

Why might Jews Muslims and Christians cause a problem in the same country?

Jews and Christians get along well as seen in the USA and Israel today. However, the teachings of Islam via the Saudi textbooks and some of the Koran and Hadith verses make it quite plain that both Jews and Christians are hated by many in Islam. The final vision for most Muslims is a world with only Muslims: Here is just one writing illustrating the intolerance of Mohammed and the Muslim movement toward the Jews and the Christians: Hadith, Sahih Muslim, Book 019, Number 4366, narrated by 'Umar b. al-Khattib: He heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say, "I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim."

Why did the spanish Jew welcome the muslin invasion?

Answer 1Possibly because initially, at last, Muslims were more tolerant of Jews than were early Christians, who maintained that the Jews had killed their Saviour.Answer 2Jews assisted Muslims in their conquests throughout the Rise of Islam period. A great example of this was when the Muslims captured the city of Cordoba. They approached the Jewish community, gave them weapons, and asked them to be the stewards of the city until the Conquest of Spain was complete. The Jews sided with the Muslims because pogroms under Muslim rule occurred far less than in Europe. Additionally, as Jews were not Christians, Muslims did not fear any Jewish insurrection whereas they did fear Christian insurrections, making the Muslims more open and trusting of Jews. Because of this Jews and Muslims had minimal confrontation in Islamic Empires.

What does the term people of the book mean?

The early Muslims regarded any other faith that believed in the abrahamic God as special, referring to its members as "People of the Book". The Book was the Bible. People of the Book were granted a status in society next in line after Muslims and were not required to convert to Islam.

How do Muslims religious beliefs compare to that of christians religious beliefs?

In rare cases some Christians religious believes would at the core be the same as that of Muslims, but Most christians would differ. The First item would be how each defines God. The Muslim view GOD as one and leaves it there, whereas a typical Christian would say God is one and .... associate Jesus and Mary with God in a divine manner almost equal to God. For Muslims it is forbidden to associate any partners with God, which clashes directly with the concept of the trinity. Christians believe that Jesus died for our sins, Muslims don't believe that and that only God can forgive sins. Muslims follow many of the laws prescribed for the Jews, while accepting Jesus as a prophet and messenger of God. Many Christians accept Jesus as God himself and not as a humble prophet of God.
