Cavalier King Charles are prone to eyes problems and heart problems, specifically MVD (Mitro Valve Disease) which is a heart problem that older Cavies can get. As long as you make sure that you get your Cavie from a good breeder, and that the parents' didn't have heart or eye problems, your dog should be healthy.
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is known to suffer from a number of genetic defects. Almost all Cavaliers will suffer from inherited Heart diseases when they reach an old age due to previous bad breeding. This breed is also prone to inherited neurological disease, epilepsy, hip dysplasia, loose knee joints, eye diseases and skin conditions.

Currently Dr. Charles Stanley is in excellent health.
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels used to have a really big problem with their hearts--it was called mitral valve prolapse, meaning that one of the valves within the heart would not work properly and not pump enough blood, so their lives were shortened. Responsible breeders have improved the problem by breeding together dogs with healthy hearts. Irresponsible breeders, like puppy mills, not so much. So it depends on the health of your individual dog's heart.
No i dont think he had any health problems do you?!
Charles chose to abdicate, or step down, from his throne because his health problems were slowly becoming more severe. He abdicated on October 25,1556 and gave his throne to his son, Philip. Three years later on September 21, 1558 Charles V died of malaria.
