A few leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly known as 'Mormons') have mentioned both historically and more modern that there are other earths with other people on them. This may be where the 'alien' rumor comes from. However, these are not aliens, they are human beings just like you or I, on earths similar to the one we live on. Some might also consider the fact that members of the church believe in heavenly messengers and angels as a belief in aliens. So, yes members of the church believe there is life on other planets, but they do not believe in little green men in silver jumpsuits or consider them 'aliens'. ∙ 11y agoNowhere. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the World, they do not believe that He is an alien.

∙ 9y agoThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) has no religious doctrines about aliens per se. The Church does teach that the spirits of those yet to be born and those who are deceased do exist with God in some other sphere, and that they may interact with mortals here on earth. These are not aliens but rather those who will or have belonged to this earth.Many Mormons also believe that God has created other worlds populated with other people, but that these worlds and the beings on them are very similar if not identical to our own, and we will not interact with them until the eternities, if at all.
