∙ 14y agoNo. The Big 3 Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft take any and all measures possible to make it as impossible as they can to exploit their hardware there may be an illegal way to do so but I dont mess with that stuff there is no possible way to do so without breaking a federal copyright law. So in my opinion its really not worth it to even try.

∙ 14y agoOn early PS3 systems containing PS2 backwards compatibility, it is possible to play PS2 games.
Also, on a PC with an appropriate emulator and input method, it is possible to play PS2 games using the PC's DVD drive.

∙ 12y agoYes, most (however not all) PlayStation 1 games work for the PS2. However this is not vise versa. Meaning PS2 games will not work for PS1.
