well, lava lamps are pretty cool but are a little tiny bit dangerous why you ask? when you leave the lava lamp on just a little bit too long it will heat up and may start to make an explosion. at least that's what i got told

Yes, you can. All you need is a bucket and a lava source. These sources can be found underground in mines. When you find lava, hold the bucket in your hand by selecting it on the action bar, and then right click the lava. Then you right click again to place the lava. But be careful! Lava is very dangerous, and it can kill you or burn down your house. Trust me, I have done it ;)
