That's not really a smart question, I mean even a blond like me knows that we don't come on now be realistic.

Answer 2Since animals tend to be very attached to their fur they are not likely to let you have it while they are still alive. It is mighty difficult to make a comfortable coat out of live animals. Answer 3NO- animals do not have to be killed for humans to get their fur,the animal could be farmed raised and allowed to live out its life and die of natural causes, then the fur could be harvested..This would however increase the time it would take to make a fur coat.

The most commonly farmed fur-bearing animals are minks, followed by foxes. Chinchillas, lynxes, and even hamsters are also farmed for their fur

To make one fur coat you must kill at least fifty-five wild mink, thirty-five ranched mink, forty sables, eleven lynx, eighteen red foxes, eleven silver foxes, one hundred chinchillas, thirty rex rabbits, nine beavers, thirty muskrats, fifteen bobcats, twenty-five skunks, fourteen otters, one hundred twenty-five ermines, thirty possums, one hundred squirrels, or twenty-seven raccoons.

According to Antifursociety.org

Over two million dogs and cats are slaughtered each year for their furs and skins, mostly in China and other Asian countries. Investigators documented 50,000 to 100,000 cat pelts stockpiled at animal byproduct factories in China. At least ten dogs are slaughtered to make a single coat, more if puppies are used. Up to 24 cats are slaughtered to make one fur coat. Dog and cat fur is used in trims, linings, hats, decorative figurines, and folk remedies. Skins are used in dog chew toys and shoe leather.

No it's not. Once upon a time when your survival depended on reliable clothing and the technology for alternatives didn't exist it was necessary. today it can only be described as callous and cold hearted. ANS2:Asking if something is right asks for a moral opinion. Animals that are legally hunted or trapped for their fur are not those that are in danger of becoming extinct. The hunters and trappers who participate in the harvest of fur are regulated and usually have to pay to obtain a permit to do so. The proceeds from the purchase of the permits goes to the department of Natural Resources to fund enforcement and conservation activities. The small percentage of the population that is harvested thus protects the larger population.
If we still had large predators that could keep the populations of the fur-bearing animals in check and there were no market for the pelts it would be easier to argue that it is not right to kill for fur from a purely humanitarian point of view. It is as easy to argue that, since we don't have any natural checks on populations, it is cold-hearted to allow disease and famine to control the animals' populations.

Furs are very popular in the fashion world, although it costs mankind a great price to pay - the life of an innocent animal. Originally, animals were killed for multiple reasons. The meat could be cooked and eaten, the bones made into medicines and weapons, and the fur for clothing and trade. Nowadays, most animals are killed only for their fur. Their fur is taken and made into hats, coats, accessories, and many other clothing items. This is very dangerous for the race of animals, as when an animal is skinned for their furs in clothing, the fur could be popular amongst humans. Publics will demand more clothing with these furs and more animals would be killed. This could lead a species of animal into extinction.

Luckily, some companies use fake fur on clothing items to prevent the harm of animals. Nether less, these fake furs would still come from an animal.

Some people believe animals have equal rights to mankind and they should not be hunted carelessly. But others believe animals were created to satisfy mankind's needs. Or, more likely, their wants.

Animals should not be killed for their fur for fashion reasons. It isn't right. By killing an animal and taking only it's fur for public wants only, humans are wasting multiple gifts of life.

The pain and fear of a skinned animal is very great. To imagine the situation, it is as if creatures three times your size want your hair and are hunting you just to get what they want and not what they need.

This is 2011 and with our advancements in synthetics there is no need to use animal fur for any reason...We have the ability to make imitation fur that so closely resembles animal fur that it can even fool some animal experts...
