Usually, bees don't bite, they sting. However there are a couple of varieties of stingless bee which, as its name implies, can't sting. They don't bite as such but have been known to grip hairs in their mouth parts and pull. As you can imagine, pulling a single hair hurts.
Im not sure exactly if they sting. There is one in my room at the momemnt & I dont feel like finding out it they do or not! Buut, by the looks of a beetle or a certain [bug] It might sting & just be cautious if it comes after u if might bite.
