Kind of. I think the air sacs help them to breathe and keep them from over heating/having a heart attack. (They do breathe through lungs)

How do frogs breathe in water and on land?

frogs breathe through there skins. but the frog has lungs but no ribs! They don't. Frogs can hold their breath for a very long time but they still have to come to the surface to breath air. They don't, they hold their breath like we do, they can just do it a long time. During their tadpole stage, they breathe under water through their skin, using internal gills. When they mature into frogs, they develop lungs and then can only breathe air using their lungs.

How do Spider breathe?

Well... everybody needs air to breathe( no matter what type it is- oxygen or nitrogen or carbondioxide). Spiders need to breathe like you and I, but many scientists find it difficult to find out how spiders breathe! The simple answer is- they use their legs to breathe! That is a very WEIRD way to breathe( well the way we find it), but to spiders, that is a very UNIQUE way of breathing.FactThe above answer is very true. The spider does breath through it's legs, and they also smell through small scent detecting hairs on their legs.A few have rudimentary (book) lungs, but most don't "breath" - they do their gas exchange via pores and allow diffusion (partial) pressure to move gases in and out of cells.Spiders use a type of lung called the canter. Unlike lungs a spider only has on canter instead of two lungs.

How does a salamander breathe?

Salamanders breathe by gills, lungs, mouth lining, and skin, sometimes in combination, sometimes separately. Members of the water dwelling salamanders lack lungs and breathe through the skin and mouth.Salamanders have skin through which oxygen and carbon dioxide can enter and leave the body. Most adult salamanders also have lungs and use their skin only as a source of extra oxygen.I beleive they breathe through their skin through miniscule holes called "spiracles."by opening there mouth and saying "EAK"
