use fertilized eggs
an egg incubator
I am not sure where to get fertilized pigeon eggs, but why not look into getting chicken or duck eggs. You can usually get them from a local farmer for free as long as you promise to return the young after they hatch. You are getting the same experience for free, or next to free! And Yes, chicken and duck eggs can hatch in an incubator.
Incubating the eggs was necessary for their survival.
You can get the information you need online or at the place where you bought your eggs. If you are wanting a rare breed, some people purchase already fertilized eggs and use an incubator. It is a personal choice. If you incubate, you will usually have more chicks than if you let nature take its course.
they use their stomachs as an incubator to keep the eggs warm enough to hatch properly without defects.
All reptiles use eggs, but a few snakes, crocodiles and lizards hatch their eggs in the mothers' bodies and come out fully hatched.
Use an incubator. small incubators are readily available and home built incubators are easy to make.
Use a broody bantam chicken to sit on them. Actually, peafowl farmers often use a broody hen to sit on peafowl eggs for the first seven days, then put them in an incubator for the remaining 21 days. This is done because there is something about the early development of the embryo that works better under a bird.
Use a heating pad, and keep it on low. Cover the heating pad with a towel. the eggs should be turned over on the opposite side twice a day. once when you wake up and once when you go to bed.
At the start of incubation of chicken eggs the internal humidity in an incubator should be between 55% and 65% around day 18 that is 19 days after the eggs are set the humidity should be increased to between 70% and 80% if the area that you house the incubator has a high humidity run it dry for the first 18 days adding water to the containers on day 18 (the 19th day) - this coincides with the day you stop turning the eggs. High Humidity too soon will drown the chicks, not enough humidity in the last 3 days will make it difficult for them to hatch.
Most incubator machines use no forms of radiation as it can be found harmful, instead they usually use an array of special lamps.
