Depending on the breed, it is possible but unlikely. I have never heard of a case however. I would assume that it has the same likelihood of a human mother eating her baby; possible, but highly improbable.
no because the smell won't let them.
shep, is for grown sized dogs with strong teeth and gums. other pups and dogs eat different food.
They don't. not usually. However, if the pups are really sick and/or the mother is really starving, this could happen.
Dogs much like cats often eat or neglect their dead newborn.
cow shit
No. Just the sack.
Newborn prairie dogs are nursed with milk. Once they are old enough to be weaned, they eat insects and seeds, and worms.
Bigger dogs eat more and female dogs if they get pregnant they eat 4 x's more i should know lol my dog had pups the 7th of april......
No they will die
Newborn pups are safe to handle when they start growing fur. The reason for not holding them when they're born is because if you get your scent on them the mother will think it's not her, therefore eat it. Ps: If your mother hamster has more babies then she can feed, take some babies out to give her a smaller litter to care for and nurse the other babies yourself. She will eat the babies if they're too much work for her. #jenna!<3
They eat themselves from the inside out until they die
its dangerous
