There are cases where huge colonies of male mice are kept together, but it takes careful planning & constant attention. There is a crucial point in their developement, which is between 5 & 7 weeks of age, where young male mice may be moved into the living quarters of adult males, & are accepted, as they are not threats & will learn their places, & fighting it seldom a problem.
With brothers, it's much the same. If you have a full litter, only take out the aggressive ones, or separate them all into duos &/or trios (twos & threes), but if none are aggressive, you may leave them all together. Do not separate them for any length of time, & handle them in pairs, or all together.
But, then there are cases where some male mice simply don't want to share, & never will, & you just have to leave them be.
