Post: Nobody normal would eat carpet, it is a synthetic material (usually) and is very unhealthy and toxic to ingest.
Although mice are scavenger type eaters, their diets are not too far different from other animals. Would you eat carpet? I don't think so.
If you're asking because a mouse chewed through your carpet to get into/out of your house, then it just tore it up but didn't swallow it. It was just turned into nearly invisible particles around the part that was demoished.
