The only Scripture that comes close to saying, "go to heaven," is from the deepest heartfelt thought of SATAN THE DEVIL:

"How thou art fallen FROM HEAVEN, O LUCIFER... For THOU HAST SAID IN THINE HEART, 'I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN...' [I WILL GO TO HEAVEN]" (Isa.14:12-13).

Nowhere in The Bible does God permit or promise man... ANY MAN... that he will go to heaven [that is, the "3rd heaven" where His throne is. The first two heavens of which the Bible speaks; man has gone and often repeatedly: the first one within the earth's breathable atmosphere where birds fly and clouds form, man goes to daily. Visit any airport around the world and watch him go. The second heaven, where the stars and planets reside in vacuous "outer space," man has gone also... but with great deliberation and difficulty].

It's SATAN who desires to go to the third heaven of God's throne -- because he wants to BE GOD:

"...'I WILL EXALT MY THRONE ABOVE THE STARS [angels - see Rev.1:20] OF GOD...'" (Isa.14:13).

But since man began to worship and obey "that old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan" [Rev.12:9] from the beginning... it naturally followed that all of the succeeding "false religions" in the world that he foisted upon deceived mankind would include GOING TO HEAVEN.

Certainly, Muslims believe that only Muslims "go to heaven"... while all other people go to "the other place" [or whatever places their ministers, priests, imams, or whatever relegate anyone who doesn't believe their way].

As for those who profess the so-called "Christian" religion... the Bible reveals that they shall inherit whatever it was that God promised to ABRAHAM!

...IF YE BE CHRIST'S, then YE ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED, and HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE." (Gal.3:29)

So the question is: WHAT DID GOD PROMISE ABRAHAM? HEAVEN?

NO! God promised Abraham "LAND!" Not heaven! The Promised LAND! God promised Abraham THE EARTH!

"For THE PROMISE, THAT HE SHOULD BE THE HEIR OF THE WORLD, was not to Abraham, OR TO HIS SEED, through the Law, but THROUGH THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF FAITH." (Rom.4:13)

The Bible promises NO ONE heaven... regardless of whatever false religion they happen to believe. It promises the "Righteous Faithful" of God THE EARTH:

God... "...hast made US unto our God Kings and Priests: and WE SHALL REIGN ON THE EARTH." (Rev.5:10)

Yes that is the end result of Christian faith. A Christian is a person who has put their faith in God. Their faith is that on the day when God judges all of creation God will be merciful to them because the Christian believes God has provided a way of salvation from His judgment through the death of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says who ever believes Jesus Christ is the son of God and died as a sacrifice for sin will go to heaven/have eternal life. This is also what Jesus taught. Jesus said this:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus also said:

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. - John 14:6

The Bible also says that salvation/ eternal life is not earned by people being good. Salvation is only by faith in God;

Romans 3:10-12 ............... "There is no one who is righteous, no one who is wise or who worships God. All have turned away from God; they have all gone wrong; no one does what is right, not even one.

John 20:31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Answer 2: No

When pronouncing sentence upon Adam, Jehovah stated: "Dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:19) Where was Adam before God formed him from the dust of the ground and gave him life? Why, he simply did not exist! When he died, Adam returned to that state of complete absence of life. The condition of the dead is made clear at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, where we read: "The dead know nothing . . . In the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." (New International Version) Scripturally, death is a state of nonexistence. The dead have no awareness, no feelings, no thoughts.

Since the dead have no conscious existence, hell cannot be a fiery place of torment where the wicked suffer after death. What, then, is hell? Examining what happened to Jesus after he died helps to answer that question. The Bible writer Luke recounts: "Neither was [Jesus] forsaken in Hades [hell, King James Version] nor did his flesh see corruption."* (Acts 2:31) Where was the hell to which even Jesus went? The Apostle Paul wrote: "I handed on toyou . . . that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, yes, that he has been raised up the third day according to the Scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4) So Jesus was in hell, the grave, but he was not abandoned there, for he was raised up, or resurrected.

No, a Christian cannot go to hell because he/she has accepted Jesus into his/her heart and has been made new. However if, after accepting Jesus into his/her heart, a Christian completely turns his/her back on God and totally denies Jesus, that Christian is dangerously close to losing the opportunity to go to heaven.

That depends on what you believe. Some say yes, and other say no. Usually the people who say no say there are other requirements, such as being good and praying, etc. Others might think that zero Christians go to heaven because God favors some other religion, or that there is no God and no heaven.

My advice is to talk to God about it and find out what *you* believe.

yes that is right.

Jesus said He is the only way for people to be saved/have eternal life/go to heaven.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The Bible tells us that all people have gone astray and no longer have a relationship with God the creator and sustainer of all things. This is called sin.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

The Bible also says that one day God will judge all people and because of their sin.

But the Bible also says that God has provided a way for people to escape the judgement they are due, that is through the death of Jesus Christ who died to appease God's wrath.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

A Christian is a person who believes this and has accepted God's gift of salvation from judgment.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God

Surprisingly, the Bible tells us that no one except Jesus has gone to heaven - the 3rd or highest heaven where the spiritual world lives and God and Jesus rule from their Thrones:

John 3:13New King James Version (NKJV)13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Additionally, the Scripture informs the reader that a New Heaven will descend upon the New Earth in the city of New Jerusalem. All humans who have repented, been baptized and follow Jesus as their Savior, will be converted into spiritual children in the God Family for all eternity:

Revelation 21:1-4New King James Version (NKJV)All Things Made New21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.â€

No, the only thing that you need to go to heaven is to love God and to not die in a state of serious sin. The possibility of dying outside the state of mortal sin outside the Catholic Church is very slim. The possibility of dying outside the state of mortal sin while inside the Catholic Church is also pretty slim nowadays as the vast majority of Catholics are not going to confession regularly and not trying to be perfect.

Do not be led astray, the only way anyone can make it through the last few minutes of your life in a state of grace is to learn how to habitually reject the devil, and depend only on the grace of Christ. To do this you must spend your entire life in serious striving after holiness, to neglect this is to pretty much guarantee that you will not make it through The Temptations the devil saves up for your last few minutes.

That depends on your beliefs. Perhaps most Christians believe you must be a Christian to go to heaven, but Jews believe that you must be Jewish to go to heaven, and Muslims believe that you must be a Muslim to go to heaven. Zoroastrians believe that Zoroastrians go to paradise, and many eastern religions believe that there is an afterlife where those who have proven themselves will go, usually after a number of re-incarnations. So, it is a common desire to go to heaven or paradise, and not only Christians hold to this belief. There is no objective evidence that a person must belong to Christianity, or to any other specific belief system, to go to heaven.

No. The Bible teaches only Jesus went to heaven where He came from:

John 3:13New King James Version (NKJV)13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

Furthermore, there are many places in Scripture which teach death being akin to sleep and at the end of the rule of man, we all will be called to an awakening to stand before Jesus Christ in the judgment process. Those who repent and accept Jesus as their savior will be changed into spiritual beings - sons and daughters in the God Family on the New Earth (see 2 Corinthians 6:18 and Revelation 21).

There are Christians who believe only Christians go the heaven and there are Christians who believe all good people go the heaven. Those views are so divergent because no one really knows. And they do not know because there is no evidence that heaven even exists.
