depends on the sort of particles. atoms and subatomic particles do but not much. they weigh so little that they cannot be measured in conventional metric terms. instead they are measured relative to 1/12 of a carbon 12 atom. protons and neutrons have relative atomic masses of 1 and electrons weigh considerably less so are often discounted in weighing atoms as they are so tiny. atoms are also measured the same way and the value is just the amount of protons plus the amount of neutrons

Yes they do. As they occupy space and hence they have mass. Except that u just cant see them with your naked eye.

What particles that make up matter are in a state of?

Particles that make up matter are in a state of constant motion.

Which is true about particles that make up solid matter?

The same particles of matter that make up a solid are also the same particles of matter that make up a gas or a liquid. Basically matter consists of atoms. At the simplest level, the particles of atoms are electrons, protons and neutrons.

Are the particles that make up light the same particles that make up all matter?

No. Light is a form of energy. Matter has mass. Light has no mass.

One of the small particles that make up matter?

There are a few different particles that make up matter. Some of them are called quarks, electrons and leptons.

How do the particles that make up matter compare during physical and chemical changes?

The particles that make up matter are unchanged during physical, or chemical changes. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, only transformed.
