They certainly do! Since a cow is a female mature bovine, that makes her able to possess female sex organs such as a vagina, a vulva, uterus, and ovaries in order to conceive and give birth to offspring. Heifers also have a vagina too because they are also female, though their vagina is often a bit of a smaller and younger version than a cow typically is. Freemartins have an even smaller vagina than either a heifer or cow.

Cows do not have periods, which is shedding the uterine membrane in human females. Cows have heats or estrus (not estrous, which is the total length of the female reproductive cycle including when she is in heat and when she is not), which occur every 21 days, not every month or 4 weeks.

NO. Cows go through what is called an ESTROUS cycle where they have a short period of high estrogen activity then a longer period of no heat activity. The period of high estrogen activity is called "heat" or "Estrus" and is clearly seen when a female is more active than normal, mounting other cows and cows mounting her, bawling a lot and pacing around. If a bull is around, she will also attempt to mount the bull before she lets him mount her. If a female has gone in heat and not been bred, she will have a small amount of bloody discharge a few days after her heat period, but not as much as what human females go through.

Cows DO NOT menstruate. This is a thing that is reserved for human females ONLY. Cows go through what is called the ESTROUS cycle. Cows go into ESTRUS (also called "heat" where estrogen levels increase and progesterone decreases) once every 21 days. Estrus lasts for only 24 hours. Cows may bleed off a few days after their heat period, but this is NOT considered menstruating.

No. Cattle do not menstruate, nor do they have monthly "cycles." Cows have what is called "estrus periods," and these occur once every 21 to 24 days, never once a month.

No. Cows just keep on breeding until they can't anymore, or until the producer feels they are no longer productive to the rest of the herd.

Why do other animals not menstruation?

Actually, many female mammals do menstruate. Those that have live born young have extra protection inside their uterus when an egg is released from the overies. This happens less often in some animals, which is why they do not menstruate as often as humans do. If the animal does not get pregnant this layer of tissue breaks down and becomes menstrual fluid.
