warm Actually, you expend much more energy in cold weather given the same amount of excercise. This is because it takes energy for your body to produce heat. So, the combination of excercise plus staying warm due to the cold takes more energy.

Really depends on what you think of as "warm" and "cold".

If it gets really warm/hot, people can suffer heatstroke, and running becomes tougher.

And if it gets proper cold - like close or below freezing - the risk of suffering from something like Asthma becomes greater.

For marathons and similar, the ideal temperature is often seen to be somewhere halfway between room temperature and refridgerator temperature.

Warm enough not to give lung issues, cool enough not to risk overheating or dehydration through sweating.

Yes and no. If you want to become more flexible you should exercise in a warm room or even outside in the sun. I would want to lose weight you should walk in a cold climate. :) <3

Yes, unless you are talking about extreme cold where prolonged exposure can cause lung damage, or if you have a condition which the cold air can exacerbate like exercise induced asthma.....generally speaking, as long as you dress appropriately you'll be fine.
