Many people re-heat left-overs with no negative effects. You cannot get food poisoning from simply re-heating food, unless the food had already been breeding bacteria. Bacteria breed when foods are left out of refridgeration too long, or if a frozen item partially unfrozen at room temperature and re-frozen. Always remember to keep hot foods hot, keep cold foods cold, and never thaw then re-freeze a food. Also clean-up thoroughly after food preparation, especially meats. Never cut salads or fruits where raw meats or the liquid from meat has been. Don't allow drippings from uncooked meat in the refrigerator to drip onto fruits or vegetables. Always put foods in wrap or containers before refridgerating.
