∙ 14y agoYou do nothave to be confirmed, but as a catholic it is considered beneficial and a great blessing to have the grace and gifts of the Holy Spirit to come upon you in the sacrament of confirmation. So, you will probably find most catholics are confirmed, though its not an essential requirement.
