If you quit your job or are fired, they have till the next pay day to pay you.
The whole notice part is suppossed to be as a benefit to the employer not the employee. If the person agreed to quit that day there shouldn't be any need to pay them. Was there anything in the contract saying that the employee would be given notice before being let go. Did you give the employee the empression they would get payed those four days? When they quit did they ask to continue working the four days or were they just trying to give notice. If nothing else just say you fired them that day, rather than accept their four days notice.
If you are a best buy employee you have to pay twice as much for the ps3 if you work at best buy you should quit
As soon as possible, but no later than the next regularly scheduled pay day for the pay period in which the employee's last day was worked.
Pay them what they're truly worth. If they're too demanding, they aren't the right employee.
Yes. I am a federal government employee and I pay the same taxes that a private industry employee pays.
My guess is that it all goes to the contract you have with your employer. If you requested a vacation day and it was approved, they should pay you with vacation time. If you just missed a day without approval, they can choose not to pay you. But this is all speculative. Read your contract/employee handbook.
If by "authorized to observe" you mean to take a day off from work with pay, the answer is NO. On the other hand, if your employer's policy allows for a "personal day," then you may be able to take the day off, with pay. A personal day is an optional holiday/vacation day which can be chosen by the employee and taken with pay, if the employee can be spared from the job without detrimental impact on the employer's operation. Most employers reserve the right to deny an employee's request for a personal day, if the employee's presense is absolutely essential to the operation of the business.
when my employee terminated, i payed him $75 dollors, and that is very little, so your employee might complain.
An employee must be paid when the rest of the employees are paid for the week. Some places will give the employee the check that day.
No, an employer in Florida does not have to pay accrued vacation time when you quit. That is if it in the company policy, it is not mandatory.
A salaried employee is paid the same amount of money even though the hours worked may vary from pay period to pay period. True or false?
A same day pay day loan is a loan that you pay back on your next pay day. Its usually not more than what you would make on the next payday either. 'Same day' means that the person can get the loan approved and cash at hand on the same day they apply.
