turn the key on-hold buttons 1 and 6 on your radio--4 numbers pop up---then eep holding and 4 more numbers pop up---those 8 numbers are your serial number call the dealer ,ask for svc-give them the numbers and they will get your code---before that--look in your papers when u bought your car--little white card has your code on it

∙ 16y agoIt came with your car probably as a separate slip of paper along with the manual. You need to contact your Honda dealers and provide them with the VIN # and proof of ownership for for a fee of usually around $40-$50 your radio will be unlocked...

∙ 11y agoThe battery was removed from my 2003 Honda Pilot and the garage forgot to reset the radio. I do not have the manual and I need instructions to reset the radio please. I do have the code.

The Radio has several buttons with numbers on them. These number can be used to set a pre-set number for the station you want. Dial the station you want to set, press and hold the pre-set number about 3 seconds. You will hear a beep, indicating the selection has been set. This can be done for each band. Press the Band to change to another band, then select your pre-set.

∙ 15y agoIf you cannot locate the radio number (sometimes posted either in, or on, the glovebox - check both the inside and outside of your glovebox to make sure) you must get the radio number and along with the VIN number contact Honda and they can give you the re-set code for the radio installed in your particular vehicle. Some have said that the following also works: To get the radio number - with the radio off - press the 1 and the 6 button and hold them as you turn the radio on. The number that supposedly appears in the radio tuner is the radio number that you will need. Other than that, you will need to remove the radio from the dash to get the radio number off the back of the unit.

The codes for this radio are based on THIS exact radio. If you have lost the code, then you have very few choices. First look long and hard for the 5 digit code. Look in the owner's manual and everywhere it may have been written down. Second, contact the selling dealer where this car was bought new, and see if they have stored the code in their system. And lastly, you will have to get the serial # off the radio. With this serial # the dealer can provide the proper code. To get the serial # you will have to remove the radio from the dash. Sorry, but these are you only choices, as there is no one code for all radios. As I said the code is specific to this radio. Once you get this code, write it down in multible places. EDIT : Most of the above info is correct up until the part of having to remove the radio to get the serial number. On most Hondas 95-up i think it is, all you have to do is turn the vehicle power on , radio off , press and hold 1 and 6 presets and turn the radio on ( you can let go of the presets after you turn the radio on). It will spit out 4 numbers, wait a sec and another 4 numbers. that's you serial number you will need to show the dealer or you can get the code yourself by entering your info here: https://radio-navicode.Honda.com/ Most codes are on the left outer edge of the glove box when you open it or the inner edge if the dealer did the right thing when the vehicle was delivered to them and PDI correctly.
