Yes, he does. If you watched the ending of the second season, he died from Azula's lightning strike. Yet, Katara brought him back with her healing water. I should remind you, however, that if the Avatar stays dead, then there will be no more Avatars. Ever. This, thankfully did not happen and the cycle, as well as Aang, will live on.

No! he defeats Firelord Ozai and masters the avatar state. Aang has died in the Legend of Korra because he needs to die for the next avatar to be reborn or reincarnated. Aang died around age 54 (Technically 154, since he was frozen in an iceberg for a century), since the new series takes place 70 years later and the new avatar (Korra) is 16.

Yes, he does because his uncle refused to become fire lord because he was old and he said they need someone with good houner he has this but he wanted to re open his tea shop. so when aang defeated the fire lord by taking his fire binding away. His sister was going to hit Katara with lightning, but then Zuko had blocked her way and got hit. but Zuko was fine and Katara had defeated her and imprisoned we think so he was the last one left in the monarchy and he became Firelord eventhough he is Firelord he still serves at his uncles tea shop.

No, Fire Lord Ozai doesn't die. Aang refuses to kill him, so he uses "energybending" to strip Ozai of his Firebending abilities.
