i think its just the city of barrow and its surrounding areas. but that 30 days of night sounds freaky and glad im in new york lol
[edit] Actually, the 30 days of night only occur in or around barrow. Southeast Alaska such as Anchorage and the rest of the Kenai Peninsula ( including Fairbanks) do not get the 30 days of night
