Nearly 80% ( 78.8% to be exact) of France's power comes from nuclear power. In 2009, France's use of nuclear power was the highest ( that the government will let us know ) of any of the nations I the world.

Yes, France is a minor nuclear power along with the UK. France currently has about 250 nukes. The U.K has about 200.

As a proportion of its total electricity, yes. It is about 75 percent in France and 20 percent in the US. But the US has 104 reactors and France about half that number
