Yes. A hypothesis or theory allows you to predict what you might observe scientifically. Sometimes your theory is wrong. It must be tested. Some of mine have been way off.
Observe, Question, Hypothesis, Predict, Test, Conclusion
they investigate, predict, observe, and at last they hypothesis.
the scientific method: observe hypothesize predict experiment
I think that it limits what a scientist can study b/c it does cannot talk or explain its past which makes it unfair for the scientist although we do know about some of its past we would love to learn more.It can farther limit by not showing a reaction or a difference. We have to always look precisely and thoroghly. 1. Observation and description 2. Formulation of a hypothesis 3. Use of the hypothesis to predict results of new observations. 4. Peer Review of hypothesis and results

The first step of the scientific method is observation. There are 5 steps in the scientific method and besides observation they are create a hypothesis, predict, test and check the hypothesis to make sure it is acceptable.

A hypothesis is basically a prediction that you can scientifically test. So you can predict something, but it's only a hypothesis if you can show how to verify that it happened or didn't happen.

No, an hypothesis is a tentative conjecture explaining an observation, phenomenon or scientific problem that can be tested by further observation, investigation and/or experimentation. As a scientific term of art, see the attached quotation. Compare to theory, and quotation given there. No a hypothesis must be tested, proven to be true No. A hypothesis is a best guess based on available information and observation.
A good scientific method is in this order... Ask a question Predict what will happen (hypothesis) Do a test Record data Make a concluion (answer the question) .
a hypothesis is where you predict something so my hypothesis about this would be I think all cows do eat grass and then i may carry out investigations to prove this
an educated guess
You must have something to predict upon for instance 'what will happen when we add flour to vinegar?'You need to predict what will happen by starting with :If....then....because.If we add vinegar to flour then.... because....
