There are some who say: "Ask him!" Others will say whose God anyway? Is it mine or yours? You should Know (or decide) which religion you are and then seek the relevant sites on the internet! Generally even those of us who are cynical prefer to believe some inanimate being such as a God loves us in addition to loving ourselves and perhaps our so called loved ones! So yes God does love me whoever he is! The realization that there is a great being that sees and knows and cares is an incredible moment for many who have become used to the idea that we are but mere molecules in a impersonal vast pointless and chaotic universe.
Cartoonists and those who would portray him as a impersonal permanently angry God selfishly ruling in a dictatorial manner have no concept of the magnitude of love that can be directed toward one little person on a little earth within a vast unfathomable universe. It can't be readily explained but when you feel it you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that His words are TRUE! It no longer matters if those around you think you are insignificant or unlovable. God doesn't limit who He loves and we shouldn't make the mistake of confusing God's just nature with His being unloving . Any parent will recognize that loving Junior does not necessarily mean letting them run amok! Judgment and love and mercy combine to give ultimate security as He is not changeable.

The greatest demonstration of how much He cares was sending Christ to stand in our place and take the ultimate punishment...and He continues to offer that to all . Whether we accept the love or not is completely up to us. Many find it hard to accept because we aren't used to the idea of a personal God working on an individual level or think we are worse than anybody else on the planet. In His day-to-day life in the time Jesus spent on Earth He intentionally sought out the supposed scum of that society and demonstrated to them that they mattered. His love for such people is one of the reasons the Pharisees despised Him so much.

Jesus loves everyone. Even people who do bad things. He does not love the bad things that they do. Jesus loves us so much that he gave his life for us so that we can live with him in heaven. I don't know a love more than that. Pray to him. He listens. I pray to him all the time everyday. Jesus loves me. Jesus loves you.

Well for starters, he created you! He wouldn't create something that he didn't love. He doesn't love our sin, but he loves us. That is why we he sent his one and only son to be crucified for us. For the time that he hung on the cross he took on all of our sins. The times we stole, cussed, lied, cheated, slept around, partied, judged others, criticized, ridiculed, committed prostitution, disrespected our parents, got drunk, and got high. He took on every single one of our sins that we have already committed, and will commit on the future. He felt the pain of your parents divorce, and your best friend stabbing you in the back. He was beaten and lashed for you. he was nailed to a cross for you. Now you decide whether he loves you or not? I have a feeling your going to say that he does. I sure hope so...because I truly don't know how I would survive without knowing Gods perfect love. I would die, honestly, because my identity is in Christ, and not in the world.
