No. Malta was up till 1964 a colony of the British Empire, Malta had a Queen. Is now a Republic.

Well no. Although there was no true title for the monarch of Malta, King George III first held the title. In 1964 when Malta became a republic, the title of Queen of Malta ended.

No! Malta used to be a colony of the british queen, since they left [1972] , the Maltese people always had a democratic government.
