Doha is a very developed, modern city. It pars with cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There are different things to do, water sports, cinema, horse racing, desert safari, camel farm, old forts and fishing villages and of course, shopping galore. There is also beaches and seaside resorts. Doha is in the middle of a big construction boom and a new skyscraper seems to be popping up every day. There are plenty of malls for shopping with brand names such as Gucci, Chanel and Ralph Lauren along with Gap and Toys R Us. If you are considering a job there, it is definitely a good place to live. There are modern English schools that teach British and American teaching methods. There are massive supermarkets and hypermarkets that import food from Europe and America. Yes, it is a developed city. It still has some road ahead of it, but developed indeed.
