Not completely. President Obama has stated that he believes Section 2 of the Defense of Marriage Act ("DOMA") is unconstitutional. He has not commented publicly on Section 3 which permits states to prohibit recognition of out-of-state same-sex marriages. On May 9, 2012, he announced that he supports the legalization of same-sex marriage, presumably in all fifty states.
