The iPhone currently cannot aquire Verizon due to the contract between Apple and AT&T. However, two Verizon employees told the press that Verizon will be available to the iPhone in January 2011. This is just another rumor of course, but there will be for sure and iPhone on Verizon either the summer of 2011 or 2012. If this Verizon iPhone happens, the sales will sky rocket and it would be the most used and successful phone in the world.

∙ 11y agoNo. The iPhone is exclusive to AT&T in the United States. Even if it were unlocked (voiding the warranty), the current iPhone is incompatible with Verizon's network. (Believe it or not, Verizon had the opportunity to be the exclusive provider for the iPhone but turned it down.)

∙ 13y agoThe Iphone will never come out for Verizon because apple works with Mac and AT&T only. There is a phone that is like the Iphone called the Droid, but it can not download the apps of an iPod Touch.

∙ 12y agoVerizon has a Sim card for black berry and world edition BUT it won't work on the IPhone because Iphone uses GSM Verizon uses CDMA the Sim card Verizon uses is GLOBAL NOT GSM!
but Verizon now signed the contract with Apple so most likely it will come June and August 2010 Europe us already selling it

∙ 13y agoIt does not matter what OS you have on the iPhone it will always be a GSM device that requires a SIM card and Verizon is a CDMA network that does not use SIM cards so the two will not work together.

∙ 13y agoVerizon just began supporting Apple iPhone 4 as of today but it is not available for purchase until February of 2011. There will only be one iPhone available for Verizon and that is the iPhone 4, until further notice.
