The fuel pump is most likely in the gas tank. The only way to reach these, for replacement, is to remove the gas tank from the vehicle. If it is wiring check you want to do, you may still have to remove the gas tank to gain access to the plug...which plugs into the fuel pump on top of the gas tank. Drain the tank before you remove it or it will be really heavy and awkward to handle and may result in injury. I had a fuel pump replaced and they took out the back seat. You can replace the fuel pump from inside the car by removing the back seat. There a panel that you have to remove on the floorboard that will allow you access to the pump. Be careful doing this because you can make a huge mess. You will never get all of the smell of gas out of your car. Good luck.
