Does a 2002 Chrysler sebring have a vacuum modulator?
Should be located at the engine end of the upper radiator hose On the 2.7 motor the thermostat is located at the engine side of the lower radiator hose…. It's a difficult job to change, the alternator a/c compressor and bracket need to be removed, at least unbolted and moved aside, and they have to be accessed from the passenger side inner fender as well as from under the hood. If you also remove the dipstick be sure to cover the hole so anti freeze can't get into the oilpan. I just unbolted the dipstick and moved it away without pulling it out to avoid that. Upon finishing I also had a problem with air pockets in the system when refilling with anti-freeze, the system must be bled well.
Answer change the heather fan sensor
It is inside the transmission pan on the bottom of thetransmission.
The idle is computer controlled and is not adjustable.
Try as you might to find it, there isn't one. Chrysler put the pressure cap on top of the plastic overflow tank! You need to make sure that cap has a good rubber seal …on it when you remove it. [ you DO allow the engine to cool down before removing that cap don't you? ] When removing the cap, you should hear a short "hiss" sound which is pressure escaping from the cooling system (if the system is warm and not cold). Under these conditions, if there is no "hiss" you most likely have a bad cap so replace it! Only $4.80 at Auto Zone. Just do it. Good luck!
