A psychopath will recognize her conduct and manner are different from those of others, given approximately average or above average intelligence and no other psychic disorders to interfere with this impression.

This does not mean she can diagnose herself, unless s/he's a trained professional, and even then the diagnose isn't completely reliable.

Reading up on disorders can be amusing, and sometimes discomforting when traits from the disorder seem to fit uncannily well with oneself. A good rule of thumb is then to ask yourself whether you or others around you seem to suffer from this. If not, then you're probably normal. If still in doubt, contact your GP and have him direct you to someone who can administer a test.

It is perfectly normal to recognize many traits not only from psychopathy, but other disorders, in ourselves.
