The latest value provided by Sears Roebuck and Company for the JC Higgins model 33 pump action rifle 22 is about $21. However, this price may fluctuate depending on the location and year of manufacture.Ê
I have the same rifle that was a Christmas present to me from my parents in 1958. I can't give you the dollar value, but that's at least a starting point on the age of that model. Mine is in good condition, but the butt plate cracked several years ago and I'm trying to replace it. If anyone can point me toward a source for replacing the butt plate on a Sears and Roebuck J.C. Higgins Model 105.18, I'd appreciate it.

anyone want to buy the bolt to a jc higgins md#58316 (farmer charles)
your shotgun was made in1952 It is one the greatest bolt action shotguns ever made .Sears owned High Standard Manufacturing back then. Sears bought the company to make this and several other fire arms exclusively for them . Sears owned the pattens .In the case of your gun It is based on an H&R patten bought by Sears .Your shotgun in depending on condition is worth between 100 and 200 bucks depending on who whats it.
I have a complete large jc higgins tent with poles, stakes, excellent shape looking to sell. anyone know if there is still interest for this item?
NUmrich has the extractor, But no sling
No, not that anyone can prove. There have been some online sites that made the claim, but the Sears archives do not agree. They say that Alvah Curtis Roebuck came from Indiana and his ancestry was British. Also, all census documents I have seen say that he was white.
Eastern Arms was a Sears Roebuck trade name which was discontinued many years before anyone even imagined a website.
This gun was made in april 1954 , there was a recall on several models on the 583.14 thru 583.22 just so everyone knows , also i have a 583.23 very nice gun , if anyone is interested in buying it , please email me at mandysdaddy503@gmail.com
