Nonliving things are abiotic because the prefix a means non, not, against and things like that. Living things are biotic because they don't have the prefix a. (This is true I got it from my science teacher...Pce<3)

Well,first of all Biotic means Non-living things.

And biotic things are like mud,dirt,water,lamp,chair,something that doesn't breathe.
