If you put chlorine on your childs hair it isn't safe!You are much better off to put conditioner and olive oil to the head to suffocate the live lice.Then you can immobilize them and comb them out. One doesn't need harsh chemicals to kill lice.
They need to be suffocated by something thick,then combed out!
All nits must be removed as well or lice will return!
