Yes, corn starch can go bad. If not kept in a sealed container, it can pick up off flavors and odors from its surroundings. It will also pick up moisture and will not thicken products the way one would expect.

ANSWER:If kept in a dry, airtight container, it will last you forever. If it gets damp, or solidifies it can be subject to bacterial growth.

It doesn't exactly 'expire'. At some point, it will not be worthwhile eating. Fresh corn is never as good as the day on which it was picked. It goes downhill from there and will either dry out or become moldy.

I don't think it does. I had a box of corn starch for 2 years and it was still good. After opening it place it inside a gallon's zip-lock bag and seal it to keep bugs out.
