Yes. Meditation helps strengthen awareness. Meditation helps us to see that we are not the mind, not the emotions, not the body. Meditation brings a sense of calm. Meditation helps us to see that fulfilling the desires of the mind will not bring a lasting sense of contentment.

And all of these things change the way we act in our everyday lives. When a business deal falls through, we do not take it as hard. When someone cuts us off on the highway, we laugh instead of yell. When we have an hour between appointments, we stop and breathe into our bellies and enjoy simply being, rather than playing Video Games.

THE PERCEPTION OF HEALTH:

The skeletal muscular system is the one and only system in your body that you can feel and control.

You feel even the so called sense organs through your muscular system only. In fact, every system in your body, digestive system, reproductive system, excretory system, etc. have representation in the muscular system.

Because of this representation, you feel all the diseases through your muscular system only.

In other words, anything that you feel, you feel through muscular system only, including health, consciousness, etc

Since your skeletal muscular system is directly under your control you can modify its tone and thus have better health.

FEELING OF DISEASES:

In diseases,

1. You don't feel our skeletal muscular system as a single unit. You become more, or sometime less, aware of some parts of it.

2. In the standing position you feel that your center of gravity is below your feet making you feel that you are very weak.

VEDIC MEDIATION AND RESTORATION OF HEALTH:

Using simple Vedic meditation techniques, which are isometric exercises, you can improve your general health.

PART 1:

1. Stand vertically, facing east. You would feel that you are more aware of some parts.

2. Press your feet firmly against the ground.

3. Keeping the feet pressed against the ground, press the borders of the tongue against your hard palate. Start feeling both simultaneously.

4. Pass high frequency vibrations from your tongue to your feet, You can, instead, utter the mantra 'Om', without opening your mouth and feel that the vibrations pass from your tongue to your feet.

You should also be able to halt the passage of vibrations at any level for ten seconds and then the allow it to move downwards again. Thus, You get the ability to move your center of gravity to any level of your body you wish.

The high frequency vibrations are necessary because the muscles of your muscular system would be working independent of each other and you must find a moment to stimulate all the muscles simultaneously and thus make them synchronous and thus work as a single unit.

PART 2:

1. If you are diseased, you would feel that the root of your tongue is hanging and not well supported.

2. Keeping the borders of your tongue in contact with your hard palate, pretend to raise the root of your tongue upward against resistance. Don't use force and don't actually raise the root of the tongue.

The aim is to make the muscles, that support the tongue from above, contract isometrically and thus make them stronger.

EFFECTS:

You should feel that,

1. You are more conscious of your muscular system

2. You are feeling your muscular system as a single unit.

2. Your center of gravity is higher, making you are feeling more energetic.

In other words, you start feeling that you are healthier.
