Definitely, in fact I'm not sure they ever heal. My friend's closed up overnight when her belly button ring fell out while she was sleeping. You're supposed to be able to take it out if you get pregnant, and then it will close up before your belly grows too much and stretches the hole out.
I had a piercing for 3 years. My size went up and down a few inches ( streching belly pirecing) I am aiming to make it look like it was never pierced. I am trying the derma roller which I brought on ebay for 3.99. It pricks your skin to cause wounds just to heal it again. In other words I am usind scar manipulation.
