Penicillin cures syphilis, and it used to cure gonorrhea. They don't use it for gonorrhea anymore because the clap has become penicillin-resistant. Current first-line treatment is ceftriaxone 250 mg. An alternative is azithromycin 2g orally in one dose.
The way you cure STDs depends on the STD, so you would have to follow your doctor's instructions. Herpes and AIDS are currently permanent, and syphilis has to be treated early enough. Penicillin and other antibiotics would only help bacterial STDs. It will not help yeast infection nor viruses at all.

∙ 10y agoSyphilis bacteria are extremely sensitive to penicillin. Very low dose of penicillin is sufficient cure syphilis. So injection benzathine penicillin 1.2 or 2.4 is enough to cure syphilis. Only you to watch for Herxheimer reaction.

Syphilis is an infection. Herpes is a virus. Over the years, we've gotten really good at curing infections, specifically with antibiotics. Penicillin is a very common antibiotic, in fact. Herpes, the virus, we cannot cure, because we can't kill viruses with antibiotics. That's why you can't get rid of herpes forever, you can only treat it.
It should be noted that Penicillin does not make you immune to Syphilis. It will cure the current case, and get rid of it completely. However, you can get syphilis again if you expose yourself to it again. Ideally you don't regularly expose yourself to Syphilis.
