Electronic devices are not effective long term.
None of them do anything long term-don't buy it
Pest controls are people who are educated in bugs area. They get rid of any types of bugs or pest. This cost a lot of money because they use chemicals to get rid of all pests.
They are designed to be, but only for the targeted pest. They are safe to use provided used responsibly. Pesticide poisoning is possible, but the people at greatest risk are those with repeat exposure (that work with it routinely)
No, it has been proven to be rather in-effective.
Science is not that hard just study and work hard! For me it comes really easy.

It doesn't. The FTC has info on these scams at http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2001/05/fyi0128.shtm. Enter "Pest Repeller" in the FTC search window for more info.
The Riddex pest repeller produces high-frequency sound waves that are harmless to humans and pets (except rodents), but which are heard by insects and rodents and are supposed to drive them away. This may sound good in theory, but it doesn't work in practice. At best, electronic pest repellers may work for a few hours or days, but they apparently have no long-term effect on pests. Also, many people claim that they can hear a whining and/or buzzing noise made by the repellers. After numerous complaints, the company that produces Riddex agreed with the FTC to not make certain claims as to their product's effectiveness. You can read the agreement on the FTC site: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2003/07/global.shtm
Yes riddex does work to get rid of rats, mice or cockroaches it is free of chemicals and is completely eco friendly.

Hardware stores, Bed, Bath and Beyond carry them. They are also easy to find online, but before you buy you might want to reconsider. there has been a class action, a ton of negative reviews and even talk of an FTC action to completely stop their sale. They just don't work.
The plug in pest control is a small device like a glade plug in that attracts insects with scents. You can get these at your local hardware store. Riddex is the most popular brand.
No it doesnt! And no one should use poisen for mice anyway. They have just as much right to be here as we do! We should just leave them along! From-a vegetarian I thought that riddex was a plug in device. How is this poison? i love animals too, but what does getting rid of icky, crawling, reproducing mice in your home by messing with their nervous systems (with a plug in device) have to do with not eating meat ?
Yes it's just ultrasonic sound, but they usually don't work long if at all so I would advise against purchase.
They adapt to it and realize the noise is not a threat. they even tried alternating frequencies but once they realize all the frequencies are only an annoyance they are ineffective too. it just takes longer.
No, don't buy any of the electronic repellers. Although some provide short term benefits, none has been proven thus far to work long term. Many of the big pest cos. have already tried them & no one is using them.
