Yes, absoutely...as do all members of Congress, etc., etc. I'm not sure I can think of anyone that is exempt from paying taxes (although most don't because their income is too low). Including clergy...a common mistake...Religion is exempt, not religious people.

As to the Pres (and many politicians), because of politics and popularity, virtually all White House and even just those running for office, even publcally disclose their returns and all financial info.

In fact, as both doing so, and even being late or withholding any portion of it is major news, virtually every year....and in recent years - with things like McCain's wife needing to disclose her financials, etc too (just because of public demand)...making headlines for days, whoever may possibly have made you think politicians, Presidents, etc have any tax advantage or such...is so uninformed..I would question, or better yet disregard entirely anything they say, as they are just clearly idiots.
