The Moon has extreme high and low temperatures because it does not have an atmosphere. The Earth's atmosphere shields us from direct exposure to solar rays during the day and traps heat at night.
Because it has no atmosphere to mitigate the sun's power nor to store the heat. So the bright side gets all the sunlight at the surface - about 250 degrees F - and it then bleeds that heat off almost immediately because there's no atmosphere to hold it, so the dark side becomes extreme cold; about -250 below.
because the moon has no atmosphere to block the sun's rays and it gets to low because there is no atmosphere to hold in the heat at night.
The moon has BOTH extremely high and extremely low temperatures!
the moon has that temperature because of the gravitational pull in space
* Jupiter, 63 moons * Saturn, 61 moons plus over 100 moonlets* Uranus, 27 moons
I believe that might be Saturn. A lot of people say that Saturn has 64 moons and stuff like that, but very few are actually moons. I've personally seen 3 moons, but the third might have been a star. Comment: No, it's not Saturn. Neptune is the probable answer, but it now has more than 8 known moons. The two moons seen from Earth are Triton and Nereid.
Saturn, with 63 Jupiter, with 60 Uranus, with 21 Neptune, with 8 Mars, with 2 Earth, with 1 Mercury and Venus, with 0 and if you count Pluto it has 3 moons.

Mercury- no moons, really hot Venus-twin planet to earth, no moons Earth- water, stable ground Mars- red planet, craters Jupiter- surface not stable, ? Sateron- no stable ground, most noticeable rings Uranous- Neptune- Pluto- REALLY Cold, solid ground

There are many moons in the Milky Way, that we know of and would be many more too, so it is impossible to give a list of names.
