No. If your cousin has a cousin who is not your cousin, then you are not related.

A cousin once removed is simply a cousin who is one generation further from, or closer, to your common ancestor than you are. So your first cousin's child is your first cousin once removed, and your parent's first cousin is also your first cousin once removed.

Not necessarily. You are cousins only if you share a common ancestor. Consider the following example. Your mother Carol has a sister named Kathy. Kathy is married to Randy. Randy and Kathy have a girl name Casey. Casey is your first cousin. Now, Randy has a brother named Clark. Clark has a wife named Sue. Clark and Sue have a daughter named Natalie. Natalie and Casey are first cousins to each other. But Natalie is NOT related to you.

Yes. However, technically speaking, the relative would be referred to as your grandfather's cousin or your cousin twice removed.

Are you related to your first cousin?

Family trees do not tell you whether people are close or distant cousins; they tell you what kind of cousins people are to each other. You, and the marriage laws in your area, decide whether two people are too closely related to make a family together.

Would my cousin be my other cousin's first cousin?

It depends. Let's say the "cousin" is A, and the "other cousin" is B. A and B would only be first cousins if they are on the same "side" of your family. For example, say you and A have the same grandparents, because your father and A's mother are siblings. That would make you and A cousins. A would only be a first cousin to B if one of B's parents was also a sibling of your father and A's mother. In short, in order to be first cousins with someone, you have to have one pair of grandparents in common.

What relation to you is your grandfathers cousins son?

How do you get your cousin to laugh?

Make sure she/he feels really left out during family activities. Make it apparent that you like all your other cousins, and ignore her/him. If you do something with your aunt or uncle (their mom or dad), be ten times more polite and perfect than her/him. Make them love you almost more that your cousin.

What are my cousins children to my grandchildren?

you and your cousin's children are 2nd cousins. ^^^ This answer is incorrect. your cousin's child would be your first cousin, once removed. (removed meaning a different generation.) Your second cousins share the same great-grandparents, but not the same grandparents. For example, your mother's cousin's child would be your second cousin.

Your grandmothers sister and husband's grandfather are cousins what does that make your husband and you?

If your grandmother's sister was a cousin (presumably first cousin) to your husband's grandfather, then your grandmother was also first cousin to your husband's grandfather. You and your husband have a great great grandparent in common and are third cousins to each other.

Can you be related to your cousins relatives?

Certainly, your cousin's cousin may be your sister or brother, or your yourself. Your cousin's cousin may also be yourcousin, because they are children of an aunt or uncle who is not the parent of your cousin. It is also possible that you are NOT related to your cousin's cousin. This would be the case, for example, if you and your cousin are related through descent from your grandparents on your mother's side, but your cousin is related to the other cousin through descent from a grandparent that the two of you do not share.Yes DUH. I'm my cousin's cousin.
