Education's goal is to teach so that students learn certain things. Examinations are used so a measurement (often a grade) can be given. There is actually very little correlation between exams and actual learning. Much of the information presented in a manner for which an exam is given is not retained over the course of time, so no real learning of the material took place, even for those who passed the exams.

It is actually possible for an individual who made a "C" on an exam to have learned more than one who made an "A." It depends on many factors (test taking skills, rote memorization, etc).

Education is what you really learn and exams do not actually measure that.

education" is the growth frm inside in latin"

its meaning is very different frm that of schooling

education does nt only mean scoring marks bt overall development

in music drama outdoors etc ..bt students today forget this in the

quench fr acquiring more marks and adopt methods like memorising and cheating

hence education is nt jst abt acquiring more marks or passing .... :)
