An aside is a line spoken to be heard by the audience but not by the other characters on stage. (Of course the other actors can hear it, but they are supposed to make like they don't)

In Scene 5 of Act 3 Juliet responds to her mother naming "That villain Romeo" with the aside "Villain and he be many miles asunder." Clearly she does not want her mother to hear that.

In Act 5 Scene 3, Paris arrives at the graveyard with his page. The page says in an aside: "I am almost afraid to stand alone in the churchyard, yet I will adventure." Balthazar later in the same scene says in an aside, "His looks I fear and his intents I doubt."
