Sounds like a drive shaft universal joint. With vehicle in park , engine off, check for looseness by tryung to move the shafe sideways. should be solid.
Is it dry inside? Considering the year and make, the most likely thing is air bubbles drying the system up and causing over heat. I love my Blazer, but they're notorious for head gaskets. And a pain to change to boot.
If both the speedometer and the odometer work on and off, I would blame the vehicle speed sensor. If only the speedometer is acting up, I would blame the cluster.
Probably the most common reason would be the fuel pump is bad. Squirt a little starting fluid into the air intake and try to start it. If it starts and runs for a moment, it's the fuel pump.
Could be poor or no fuel pressure due to a bad fuel pump. Also check the fuses.

Buying used injector is not recommended because no one knows the state that it's in, how much life left ect.... Junk yards usually have them priced around $20.00 per injector depending on make of the car; the Chevy Cavalier are dime a dozen in the yards so finding one is very easy and relatively...

The third site in the dash somewhere and is used for the AC. The in car temp sensor is in the center console behind the armrest...
Need to know what size engine you have in that 91 S10. If it is a 4.3L, the fuel pump relay would be found under the hood, on the firewall, drivers side, between the master cylinder and the fender. If there is two relays there, it would be the one closer to the fender.

I have 2006 Blazer. Antifreeze needs to be at right level or no heat. Instead of changing my thermostat for very cold temperatures I use a grill snap on guard that adds plenty of heat to the cab and is adjustable. Gasoline will not burn well if the engine is too cold in severe winter driving. If you...
